Harry O. Davis

Harry Davis has been involved in commercial real estate brokerage, asset management and executive management for more than 25 years. He specializes in landlord and tenant workouts, restructuring, negotiations and bankruptcy for free-standing restaurant, retail and gas station-convenience store properties. Mr. Davis is the founder and CEO of Net Lease Solutions, a firm which specializes in redeployment of non-performing and underperforming assets and consulting for bankruptcy cases. In this capacity, Mr. Davis has done significant restructuring work for tenants, including renegotiating hundreds of leases and selling numerous non-performing properties of a 240-unit regional family dining chain.

Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Davis was Chief Operating Officer of US Restaurant Properties (USRP), a NYSE-listed Real Estate Investment Trust which owned nearly 1000 properties in 49 states. In that capacity, he oversaw the sale, re-leasing and redevelopment of hundreds of non-performing and underperforming properties, numerous workouts and lease restructurings and several large tenant bankruptcies. He also was charged with implementation of and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for the corporation, as well as implementing internal cost controls and business and management processes. Among his many accomplishments at USRP, Mr. Davis:

  • Chaired the Unsecured Creditors’ Committee in the bankruptcy of a 240-unit fast food franchisee of a major national brand
  • Chaired the Unsecured Creditors’ Committee of a 550-unit national casual dining franchisor and operator
  • Served as Chairman and Chief Restructuring Officer for a 75-unit casual dining chain
  • Oversaw the redeployment of 54 convenience store properties after the franchisee was liquidated in bankruptcy
  • Was instrumental in the successful merger of USRP with another restaurant-oriented REIT, creating the world’s largest restaurant REIT

Mr. Davis serves on the boards of numerous volunteer and charitable organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Communication from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.
